JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Part-Time ? Growth to Full-Time
Starting Rate: $3.50/hour (growth to $6/hour based on performance)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee daily order flow, supplier communication, COG monitoring, and operational efficiency for a UK-focused fashion brand.

This role is not about waiting for instructions, we want someone who takes initiative and improves systems.

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring daily orders in Shopify
- Ensuring all orders are fulfilled and shipped correctly
- Communicating with suppliers
- Checking product quality issues
- Sourcing better factories if needed
- Monitoring COG (Cost of Goods)
- Negotiating supplier pricing if COG becomes too high
- Flagging risky orders or operational issues
- Maintaining tracking spreadsheets
- Identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements

Requirements:

- Experience working with Shopify stores
- Dropshipping experience preferred
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience communicating with suppliers
- Basic understanding of profit margins & COG
- Experience with Google Sheets / Excel
- Proactive mindset

Bonus

- Experience with Chinese suppliers (1688 / Alibaba / agents)
- Understanding of UK market
- Experience improving delivery times or reducing refund rates

- Explain previous experience managing orders
- Provide examples of supplier negotiation
- Complete a short practical task before hiring

Working Hours & Structure

This is a flexible part-time role in the beginning.

As we are a growing brand, workload may vary depending on dispute volume. Some days may require approximately 2 hours of work, while busier periods may require up to 5 hours per day.

The ideal candidate:

- Is comfortable with flexible daily hours
- Can adjust based on workload
- Is available to increase hours as the business grows

There is strong potential for this role to grow into a consistent long-term position.

This is a flexible part-time position during the initial phase.

As we are scaling, daily workload may fluctuate. Some days may require around 2 hours, while others may require up to 5 hours depending on order volume and operational needs.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is comfortable with variable hours
- Can respond when workload increases
- Is interested in long-term growth into a more stable full-time role

This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow with an expanding e-commerce brand.
