DIGITAL CONTENT / SEO MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Digital Content / SEO Manager is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on all SEO and social media efforts across multiple brands and locations. This role owns the organic digital presence, ensuring consistent brand voice, strong local relevance, high search visibility, and ongoing engagement with clients, referral partners, and employees.

This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with strong expertise in local SEO, content marketing, and performance analytics.

BRANDS & PLATFORMS MANAGED

Responsible for content and SEO for:

• Come Back Clean
• Home Instead Senior Care
• 101 Mobility

Across multiple locations and platforms including:

• Websites
Facebook
• Instagram
• LinkedIn
• Google Business Profiles

Each brand and location must be treated as its own digital ecosystem with tailored content for audience, services, and geography.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

SEO Strategy & Execution

• Conduct ongoing keyword research (primary, long-tail, and geo-modified keywords)
• Monitor SEO trends, algorithm updates, and local search behavior
• Identify ranking opportunities based on seasonality, service demand, and competitor movement
• Optimize website content including titles, meta descriptions, headers (H1–H3), internal linking, image alt text, and local relevance signals
• Ensure content aligns with search intent (informational, navigational, transactional)
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles, including NAP accuracy, services, categories, weekly posts, and photo updates
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, impressions, conversions, and page performance
• Identify underperforming pages and implement corrective strategies

Content Planning & Calendar Management

• Build and publish a complete monthly content calendar at least two weeks in advance
• Ensure all content is scheduled ahead of time
• Develop content across three tracks:
• Clients (education, services, value, trust)
• Referral Providers (partnerships, credibility)
• Employees (culture, recognition, recruiting)
• Align content with SEO goals, brand messaging, seasonal campaigns, and local initiatives
• Repurpose content strategically across platforms using platform-specific best practices

Social Media Management

• Oversee consistent posting on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profiles
• Follow best posting days and times
• Monitor engagement analytics and adjust strategy accordingly
• Maintain consistent posting cadence

Engagement & Reputation Management

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
• Manage Google reviews across all locations
• Respond promptly to reviews and escalate sensitive issues when necessary
• Identify trends in feedback and communicate insights to leadership

Localized Content Execution

• Coordinate with local offices to collect photos, videos, and community content
• Edit, optimize, and schedule localized content while maintaining brand consistency and SEO relevance
• Strengthen local identity while aligning with brand standards
• Use local content to improve local SEO signals and community trust

Analytics & Reporting

• Deliver monthly reports including SEO performance, rankings, traffic, engagement, GBP insights, and month-over-month comparisons
• Analyze performance data to identify what is working and recommend adjustments
• Continuously refine content strategy, posting cadence, and SEO focus areas based on insights

Brand Governance

• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual standards across all platforms
• Ensure accuracy of services, locations, and contact information
• Prevent duplicate or outdated content

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Strong understanding of local and organic SEO
• Experience managing multi-location brands
• Content planning and editorial calendar management
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Strong written communication skills
• Must have strong English speaking skills

Preferred:

• Experience with local service-based businesses
• Google Business Profile optimization experience
• Experience managing multi-brand environments
• Data-driven marketing decision-making
