JOB OVERVIEW

Graphic Designer & Video Editor (Remote)

Location: Remote
Pay: $6/hour (contractor)
Hours: 20 hours per week to start
Schedule: US Pacific Time business hours (9am–5pm PT), assigned shifts may vary

About the Role

We’re hiring a part-time Graphic Designer & Video Editor to support social media, advertising, and client projects.

This is a remote contractor role with consistent part-time hours, clear direction, and the opportunity to grow into a longer-term position with more hours.

Most of your work will involve:

Designing social media graphics

Editing short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, etc.)

Creating presentation slides

Light print design

Occasional long-form video editing

You’ll start by working from templates and detailed instructions, but we’re looking for someone who is also creatively motivated and can bring thoughtful design ideas to the table.

Required Skills

You must be comfortable and experienced with:

Canva (daily use)

CapCut (short-form video editing)

Descript (basic editing workflows)

You should also:

Have strong written English skills

Be organized and detail-oriented

Follow directions carefully

Meet deadlines without exception

Be comfortable working assigned shifts within US Pacific business hours

Work Style & Expectations

Fully remote contractor position

20 hours per week to start

Flexible scheduling, but work must be completed on time

Clear communication and reliability are essential

Opportunity for more hours and long-term work for the right person
