JOB OVERVIEW

At Cutting Edge Stone & Granite, we are a countertop and remodeling company, but we don't just install surfaces; we redefine spaces. We assist our clients with all aspects of a remodel from the stone counters being our primary service, to flooring, cabinets, and any other part of a remodel project. We are seeking a technically-minded Estimator Virtual Assistant to bridge the gap between architectural blueprints and job execution. The Role (Position Overview)
Your primary objective is the conversion of technical drawings into accurate, professional estimates. You will be the analytical engine that ensures our projects are profitable and our clients are informed.

Technical Estimating: Reviewing blueprints and architectural drawings to generate precise estimates.

Blueprint Analysis: Calculating square footage, identifying edge profiles, noting backsplash requirements, and any other relevant questions needed for completing estimate beyond what is representing on drawings. Training will be provided on our (minimal) software and operations.

Administrative roles: Managing job sheets, organizing digital files, and ensuring no project detail falls through the cracks.

Client Engagement: Handling email follow-ups for estimate clarifications and maintaining a professional presence on our social media channels through occasional engagement.

Qualities & Attributes (The Ideal Candidate)
At least 2 years of experience specifically working with blueprints and estimations or bid preparations.

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; experience in Civil Engineering or related construction fields is highly valued.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and CRM/Project Management software.

Communication Mastery: Professional English fluency for client interaction via email and occasional social media engagement.

Compensation & Benefits
Rate: $3.00 USD per hour.

Professional Environment: Access to communicate with on-site employees between Mon - Fri 9a - 5p MST.
