About SBCAN Search Marketing
SBCAN Search Marketing is a small paid media agency based in California. We specialize in structured Google Ads execution, clean conversion tracking, and performance-focused optimization.
Most of our work is for lead generation, service businesses, SaaS, eCommerce, education, and local/regional campaigns. We care about business results, not just clicks, impressions, or low-cost leads.
We are looking for a long-term tea
Important: This Is a Focused Full-Time Role
This is not a freelance side project, agency subcontractor role, or extra client account.
We are looking for someone who wants this to become their primary full-time position. We are open to candidates who are currently employed full-time, as long as they are willing to give proper notice and transition into this role if hired.
This role is not a good fit for someone trying to work multiple full-time jobs at the same time or manage a large freelance client roster during working hours.
Individual applicants only. No agencies or subcontracting.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Google Ads Specialist / Paid Search Execution Lead to support campaign builds, optimizations, tracking QA, reporting support, and ongoing account maintenance across multiple client accounts.
You will work directly with the agency owner/strategist. You will not be responsible for speaking with clients, but you must communicate clearly, stay organized, and follow through on tasks without items slipping through the cracks.
In the beginning, you will support existing campaigns, learn our systems, and help with execution. Over time, the goal is for you to own more of the day-to-day paid search execution across accounts.

To Apply
Please answer all questions carefully. Applications that do not answer every question will not be considered.
Start your application with the word Focus so we know you read the full post.
Describe how you would structure a $10,000/month Google Search campaign for a local or regional service business where lead quality matters more than lead volume. Include campaign structure, match types, bidding strategy, and how you would manage negatives.
If a campaign is generating leads at a good cost per lead, but the client says the leads are low quality, what would you check first?
Confirm your availability for PST overlap. What hours could you consistently work?
How many Google Ads accounts or clients are you currently managing?
Are you currently working a full-time job, part-time job, agency role, or recurring freelance/client work? Please explain clearly.
If hired, would this role become your primary full-time position? If you are currently employed, what notice period would you need?
What is the largest monthly Google Ads budget you have personally managed?
Briefly describe one example where you improved lead quality, not just cost per lead. Please do not include confidential client information.
We review applications carefully and are looking for someone serious about long-term growth, focus, and high-quality execution.
