JOB OVERVIEW

You will be editing reaction-based YouTube videos.

These typically include:

2–4 people reacting to music videos, performances, trailers, or shows

Multi-camera setups

Screen capture of the content being reacted to

High-energy commentary and natural chemistry between hosts

The goal is to make the viewer feel like they’re in the room with us — while keeping the pacing tight and engaging.

?? Responsibilities

Edit long-form YouTube reaction videos (15–40 mins raw footage)

Cut dead space while maintaining natural flow

Add zoom-ins, punch-ins, and ---------- -style enhancements when appropriate

Balance audio (multiple mics + video audio)

Sync reaction footage with screen content

Add subtitles for key ---------- nts (not full captions, just emphasis)

Insert background music when required

Create engaging intro hooks (first 30–60 seconds are critical)

Export according to YouTube optimisation standards

Strong understanding of YouTube pacing & retention

Experience editing reaction videos (highly preferred)

Good comedic timing

Clean, modern editing style (not over-edited, but not boring)

Understanding of copyright-safe formatting for reaction content

Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Willingness to adapt to channel-specific styles

Bonus if you:

Watch reaction content regularly

Understand K-pop, anime
