JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing short-term rental business operating 7 apartments in Costa del Sol, South of Spain.

We are hiring our first Virtual Assistant to manage guest communication and help improve our systems so we (the owners) can focus on expanding the business. Our PMS is Hostaway so we expect you to know the system or be a quick learner.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to grow with us.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will primarily handle:
- Guest messaging (Airbnb, ---------- , direct bookings)
- Pre-booking questions and follow-ups
- Check-in / check-out communication
- Handling guest issues and complaints professionally
- Coordinating with cleaners and maintenance when needed
- Reviewing and improving our Hostaway automations
- Identifying gaps in our current processes
- Suggesting and implementing operational improvements
- Help managing social media accounts

We are not just looking for someone to reply to messages. We are looking for someone who understands short-term rental operations.

REQUIREMENTS (Important – Please Read Carefully)
- 3+ years experience in short-term rental management
- Experience managing 10+ listings (20+ preferred)
- Strong experience using Hostaway
- Excellent written English
- Proactive and solution-oriented
- Able to suggest improvements (not just follow instructions)
- Reliable internet and backup power

**Spanish language skills are a strong plus
Since our properties are located in Spain and some guests may communicate in Spanish.
