Job description:

On the Go Moving and Storage is seeking a professional, customer obsessed individual to join our office team! You will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include answering calls, closing sales, and dispatching movers and trucks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient moving process for our clients.

A Day in the Life

Answering Calls: Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing information about our services, pricing, and availability
Closing Sales: Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by effectively communicating the benefits of our services and addressing any concerns
Dispatching Movers and Trucks: Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of movers and trucks, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
Customer Support: Assist customers with any issues or questions they may have before, during, and after their move
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, bookings, and dispatch schedules
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the moving team to ensure all customer needs are met and any issues are promptly resolved.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, and/or dispatching
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with active listening skills
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and multitasking abilities (think - talking on the phone, typing and researching all at the same time)
Time Management Skills: The ability to juggle constant competing priorities
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record-keeping
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment
