JOB OVERVIEW

Hello,

I am currently looking for an experienced YouTube video editor to join me on a long-term project.

I already run a French YouTube channel with over 4,000 subscribers, where several videos have reached hundreds of thousands of views. I am now launching a new English YouTube channel, targeting a wider international audience, and I am looking for the right editor to help build this channel from the ground up.

? Project Overview

The content will mainly consist of:

Facecam recordings

Voice-over storytelling

Documentary-style editing

B-roll integration, music, pacing, and storytelling-driven edits

The goal is to reproduce the style and quality of established documentary-style YouTube channels (references will be provided privately).

We are aiming for:

1 to 2 long-form videos per week

Potential additional Shorts content later on

This means there will be consistent and ongoing work for the right person.

? Who I’m Looking For

Someone experienced with YouTube documentary-style editing

Strong storytelling and pacing skills

Ability to keep viewer retention high

Someone who understands YouTube standards and audience expectations

Reliable and interested in a long-term collaboration

This is not a beginner position — I’m specifically looking for someone who already has experience working with YouTube creators or documentary content.
