About the Role
This is a social media creator and coordinator role. If you are able to do short form video editing as well, that would be considered a good bonus. You’ll plan, create, publish, and optimize content across social platforms. The focus is on content that drives credibility, connection, and measurable results.
Main Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms, primarily Instagram at this time (as platforms evolve, we do too)
- Primary platforms: Instagram and
- Secondary platforms: TikTok and YouTube
- Write clear, on-brand captions
- Optimize posts using music, covers, tags, and formatting
- Manage comments, messages, and share IG stories
- Create content calendars and posting schedules
- Manage influencer campaigns as needed
- Track performance and identify what’s working and why
- Support testing of new formats, hooks, and content ideas
- Draft content and reports for client approval
Video Editing
- Edit short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts
- Understand and implement the elements that make videos perform well on the client’s platform of choice
- Strong hooks, good pacing, clear storytelling, and visuals that keep viewers watching
What We’re Looking For
- Social media management experience
- Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form content
- Strong English for caption writing and understanding the nuances needed for content to perform on social media in Canada
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and pride in your work
- Willingness to learn and adapt as platforms evolve
- Comfortable with video editing preferred
