ABOUT THE ROLE:
A growing YouTube channel focused on police bodycam footage seeks a detail-oriented researcher to handle public records requests and identify compelling content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor police activity across the US
• Identify high-potential i
• File FOIA/public records requests weekly
• Track and follow up on pending requests
• Download and organize received footage
• Research background/context on i
• Maintain tracking spreadsheet
• Flag urgent/trending i
TIME COMMITMENT:
• 10-15 hours per week (to start)
• Flexible schedule
• Some weekend monitoring preferred
COMPENSATION:

REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent research skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with FOIA/public records laws
• Understanding of compelling content
• Organized and self-motivated
• Good written communication
PREFERRED:
• Previous public records experience
• Interest in true crime or law enforcement
• Understanding of YouTube
