Part-Time | Growth-Oriented Venture Role
Job Overview
Capacity: 8–10 hours per week initially
Location: Primarily remote (Philippines-based)
Travel: Occasional domestic site visits (expenses covered)
Focus: Venture evaluation, operational structuring, and international coordination
About the Role
I am building and testing several early-stage business initiatives in the Philippines and am seeking a sharp, analytical professional to help evaluate and structure them.
This is not a standard bookkeeping role. This is a venture evaluation and operations role for someone who wants to understand how businesses are tested, improved, and scaled from the ground up.
The initial assignment involves evaluating a small agricultural venture in the Visayas-Mindanao region. There are minimal formal records in place.
Your task will be to determine:
Is this venture economically viable?
What are the true unit economics and cost drivers?
Should we scale, improve, pivot, or discontinue the project?
Growth Pathway
Beyond the initial farm project, responsibilities may expand into:
Designing structured market research systems for U.S. companies studying emerging Southeast Asian consumers
Organizing workflows and validation processes for AI-driven initiatives
Synthesizing field data into clear reports for U.S.-based stakeholders
Building repeatable frameworks for evaluating early-stage ventures
What You’ll Do
Conduct site visits and convert physical operations into structured financial data
Build simple, practical tracking systems (ClickUp or similar tools are a plus)
Analyze margins, cost drivers, and sustainability
Provide clear, direct recommendations on project viability
Coordinate research and validate information for new initiatives
Work independently and communicate findings concisely
Who This Role Suits
You may be a strong fit if you:
Have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business (CPA welcome but not required)
Think analytically and enjoy solving ambiguous problems
Are comfortable working independently
Communicate clearly across different types of stakeholders
Are curious about international business and technology
Fluency in Cebuano or Surigaonon is an advantage for field work but not required.
