JOB OVERVIEW

[Summary]
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Hours: approx. 15–25 hrs/week
- Compensation: $15/ hour
- Available to do weekly/bi-weekly zoom call with Founder in EST (New York time zone)

[Role Overview]
- We are seeking a highly analytical Strategic FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling for a growing beauty brand operating across DTC, wholesale, and marketplace channels. This is not a bookkeeping role. You will be responsible for building structured financial visibility and translating data into strategic decision-making that protects margin, improves cash flow, and supports scalable growth.

[Key Responsibilities]

1. Financial Forecasting & Planning
- Build and maintain 12-month rolling financial forecasts
- Develop revenue and expense projections
- Model growth scenarios and sensitivity analysis
- Support annual budgeting process

2. SKU-Level Margin & Profitability Analysis
- Conduct detailed gross margin and contribution margin analysis
- Evaluate DTC vs Wholesale vs Marketplace profitability
- Identify margin leakage from promotions and shipping subsidies
- Provide pricing and promotion recommendations

3. Promotional & Scenario Modeling
- Build financial models to evaluate discount strategies
- Analyze bundle economics and campaign profitability
- Assess CAC impact on contribution margin
- Provide pre-launch financial feasibility analysis

4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Planning
- Build cash flow projections
- Align financial forecasts with inventory and production planning
- Monitor working capital exposure
- Improve cash predictability

5. Executive Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Develop structured monthly financial dashboard
- Provide clear executive-level summaries
- Identify financial risks early
- Present actionable recommendations to leadership

Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or financial modeling
- Experience in consumer goods, beauty, or DTC & Wholesale preferred
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills (required)
- Strong understanding of contribution margin and unit economics
- Ability to build scenario models from scratch
- Experience supporting founder-led or growth-stage companies preferred
