About Scaliency:

Scaliency is a Phoenix, Arizona-based growth marketing agency that builds complete growth systems for service-based businesses -- websites, paid ads (Google & Meta), SEO, content, CRM automation, and AI-powered lead management. Our clients include home service companies, auto repair shops, contractors, and other service businesses across the US. We are quickly growing and are building our core team to support that growth.

Job Description:

You will be Scaliency's dedicated SEO Specialist -- the person responsible for making our clients findable online. You'll handle the full SEO cycle for each client: keyword research, content creation and publishing, on-page optimization, link building, citation management, and Google Business Profile management. Your work compounds over time and becomes the organic engine that drives long-term client growth alongside our paid advertising efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and build monthly content plans for each client using our premium SEO platform (Search Atlas -- training available).

- Create SEO-optimized content using Search Atlas and our AI tools (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT), then edit every piece for human quality, accuracy, and brand voice.

- Publish content directly in WordPress using pre-built page templates.

- Apply on-page SEO in WordPress via RankMath -- meta tags, heading structure, internal linking, schema, alt text, clean URLs.

- Execute white-hat link building -- backlink outreach, editorial submissions, and guest post outreach using Search Atlas tools.

- Build and manage business citations across key directories (Google, Yelp, BBB, Bing Places, Apple Maps, and industry-specific).

- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles -- descriptions, categories, photos, weekly posts, Q&A, review response drafts.

- Run monthly technical SEO audits and monitor Google Search Console for all client sites.

- Track keyword rankings weekly, monitor organic traffic, and report on SEO performance monthly.

- Coordinate with our Web Developer for site-level SEO needs and custom page builds.

Requirements:

- 3+ years SEO experience (Technical, On-Page & Off-Page SEO).

- Experience with professional SEO platforms (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar).

- Keyword research and content strategy.

- On-page SEO implementation in WordPress (RankMath or Yoast, heading structure, meta optimization, internal linking).

- Off-page SEO execution -- link building, outreach, and citation building with real results.

- Google Business Profile optimization and management experience.

- Google Search Console proficiency.

- Content editing skills -- can read AI-generated content, spot quality issues, and edit for natural readability.

- WordPress Expertise.

- Excellent written & spoken English.

Nice to have: Local SEO specialization, schema markup (JSON-LD) knowledge, HARO/digital PR experience, experience with service-based businesses, US local market understanding, technical SEO audit experience.

What Working With Us Looks Like:

- Fully remote -- work from anywhere.

- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week.

- Minimum 4 hours overlap with 9am-5pm MST (Arizona time).

- Weekly video check-ins + ad-hoc video / audio calls as needed.
