JOB OVERVIEW

Sterling Forever is a fast-growing DTC jewelry brand known for high-quality .925 sterling silver, gold-plated styles, and trend-forward designs with a lifetime guarantee.
We are looking for a detail-obsessed Junior Graphic Designer who understands that jewelry retouching is not the same as fashion editing. You will work with metals, stones, model imagery, and social content daily — ensuring our silver looks crisp, our gold tones are accurate, our CZ stones sparkle, and our brand aesthetic remains elevated, modern, and consistent.
This is a long-term remote position.

Main Responsibilities
Jewelry Photo Retouching (Primary Focus)
• Retouch model images with a natural, luxury finish (skin cleanup, blemish removal, subtle texture preservation)
• Edit and enhance product photography (rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets)
• Refine metal surfaces (sterling silver, gold plating) to ensure:
Clean reflections
True-to-tone color accuracy
Controlled highlights and shadows
• Enhance stones (CZ, zirconia) for realistic brilliance — never artificial or over-sharpened
• Remove dust, scratches, and micro-imperfections
• Product recoloring (silver gold conversion) while preserving realism
• Ensure consistency across:
Lighting temperature
Metal tone
Background brightness
Brand visual standards
• Prepare images for:
Shopify product pages
Paid ads

Email
Pinterest
TikTok Shop

Social Media Video Editing

Edit short-form vertical videos (TikTok, Reels, Pinterest)
Clean cuts and pacing optimized for retention
Add captions/subtitles in brand voice
Basic motion graphics and product callouts
Enhance jewelry shine and detail in video
Adjust lighting and color grading for consistency
Export in platform-optimized formats

Requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of:
Metal retouching
Highlight/shadow control
Texture preservation
Color theory
• Experience editing:
Jewelry
Accessories
Beauty or fashion products
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar)
• Strong eye for composition, lighting, and balance
• High attention to detail (pixel-level accuracy matters here)
• Reliable internet connection
• Good English communication
• Comfortable receiving detailed feedback and refining work
• Strong organizational skills and file management

Nice to Have (Highly Valued)
• Direct jewelry retouching experience (sterling silver, gold plating, gemstones)
• E-commerce product editing background
• Experience working with DTC brands
• Understanding of:
Conversion-driven visuals
Paid social creative
Platform-specific content formatting
• Experience with AI-assisted editing tools (Retouching automation, generative fill, etc.)
