JOB OVERVIEW

PRIOR RECENT EXPERIENCE IN ESTIMATING BLINDS, CURTAINS AND ACOUSTIC PRODUCTS FOR THE UK CONSTRUCTION MARKET IS REQUIRED.

1. List three UK fitout projects where you personally estimated blinds, curtains or acoustic products.
2. State which UK suppliers you have previously requested quotations from and for which products.
3. Provide one example of your takeoff or markup work using Bluebeam or similar software.

Job Purpose
We are hiring an Estimator to support London commercial office fitout projects, specialising in blinds, curtains and acoustic finishes. You must already understand UK construction methods, UK suppliers, UK pricing structures and fitout tendering. This is a part?time role with potential to grow into full?time based on performance, reliability and output quality.
This role involves direct estimating work for premium London office projects. You must be able to work accurately, consistently and at UK commercial standards. Only candidates with recent, proven UK fitout estimating experience will be considered.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and BOQs to produce accurate takeoffs and estimates.
Request and negotiate quotations from UK suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare complete cost breakdowns including labour, materials, preliminaries and risk allowances.
Understand installation sequencing, tolerances and fitout buildability.
Maintain updated knowledge of UK regulations and finishing trade practices.
Work closely with project managers and surveyors.
Keep estimating files organised and audit?ready.
Provide daily updates without follow?up.
Work with consistency, accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications
English C2 level.
Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and UK fitout practices.
High accuracy in takeoffs and measurements.
Proficient in Bluebeam, MS Office, CAD tools and CRM systems.
Clear written communication suitable for UK commercial clients.
Able to work independently and make commercially sound decisions.
Experience
Minimum three years of recent experience estimating blinds, curtains and acoustic products for the UK construction market.
Applicants without UK?specific evidence will not be considered.

Wage
USD 12.00 to USD 15.00 per hour depending on experience and output quality.

Schedule
08:00 to 17:00 UK time
Three days per week.

Work Setup
Remote work.
