Customer Service & Dispute Resolution Specialist (Remote)

Our AI support system handles most customer inquiries, but when a human touch is needed, that’s where you come in.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Customer Service & Dispute Resolution Specialist who’s proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented. You’ll handle the cases our AI system flags for manual review, ensuring every customer feels cared for and every dispute is resolved smoothly.
Your Responsibilities:
- Respond to flagged customer
- Call customers who have opened a dispute (on PayPal, Stripe, etc.) to offer a win–win solution and guide them to close the dispute
- Investigate and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and product experience
- Create and manage orders, refunds, and replacements in Shopify
- Navigate Stripe, PayPal, and Shopify for case handling, payment lookups, and account management
- Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements to reduce future disputes
Requirements:
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Prior experience in eCommerce customer support (Shopify store experience preferred)
- Experience with dispute handling and chargeback prevention (PayPal, Stripe)
- Confident with phone support and
- Familiar with Zendesk, Shopify, Stripe, and PayPal dashboards
- Reliable internet connection and availability during USA working hours
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with AI-assisted support systems
- Understanding of health or wellness products
- A calm, empathetic, and solution-oriented personality
