The Opportunity
This is not a typical marketing role. You'll be joining during a critical transformation phase, working directly with our fractional CMO to build easyIT's marketing infrastructure from the ground up. You'll execute the strategic BLUEPRINT we've developed to generate qualified leads, build brand visibility, and create systematic revenue growth.

You'll have the rare opportunity to see immediate impact from your work. Every campaign you execute, every piece of content you create, and every lead you generate will be directly visible in company growth. This role combines content creation, campaign execution, and outbound lead generation, making it perfect for someone who wants diverse marketing experience with measurable business results.

Role Overview
Position Type: Part-time (15-20 hours/week initially), with potential to scale to full-time as campaigns expand

Reporting Structure: You'll work under the strategic direction of our fractional CMO, with direct collaboration with the CEO/founder for subject matter expertise and client insights.

Work Style: Initially Fully remote, flexible hours, but must be self-directed and able to execute independently without constant supervision. We need someone who can take strategic direction and run with it. In the future may turn into a hybrid role if fulltime.

Core Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Writing (30% of time)
• Website Content: Write and update service pages, About page, location pages based on strategic messaging frameworks. Build and test landing pages for lead magnets, case study downloads, and specific campaigns.
• Blog Content: Draft 2-4 blog posts per month (1,500-3,000 words) following SEO content calendar and keyword targeting
• Case Studies: Interview clients and write compelling case studies highlighting retention and client success stories
Email Marketing: Write email sequences for lead nurture, referral requests, and newsletter content
• Sales Enablement Materials: Create persona-specific one-pagers (Owner/CEO, CFO, Office Manager, IT Manager versions)

2. Cold Outreach & Lead Generation (25% of time)
• Prospect List Building: Research and build targeted lists of 10-80 employee businesses in Melbourne matching ideal customer profile
• LinkedIn Outreach: Execute connection requests and personalised messaging campaigns via SalesFlow (or similar automation tools)
• Cold Email Campaigns: Write and launch multi-touch email sequences using best practices for deliverability
• Personalisation at Scale: Research prospects and customise messages using company-specific details and pain points
• Response Management: Monitor replies, categorise responses (interested/not interested/questions), coordinate handoffs to CEO
• Follow-up Sequences: Execute systematic follow-up across channels (LinkedIn + email + potentially phone)
• Performance Optimisation: Track metrics (connection rates, reply rates, meeting bookings), adjust messaging based on results

3. Campaign Execution & Management (25% of time)
• Referral Campaigns: Execute systematic referral request campaigns to top clients using prepared scripts and templates
Email Campaigns: Set up and manage automated email sequences in GoHighLevel (or designated email platform)
• Google Business Profile: Post weekly updates using 4-post rotation (company news, tips/advice, client success, offers/promotions)
• Social Media: Create and schedule LinkedIn posts (2-3x per week) based on content bank and thought leadership strategy
• Content Repurposing: Turn long-form blog content into social posts, email snippets, and one-pager excerpts

5. CRM & Data Management (10% of time)
• GoHighLevel Management: Input leads, update contact records, and maintain buying committee stakeholder data
• Lead Tracking: Log all referrals, track source attribution, and update pipeline stages accurately
• Contact Enrichment: Research and add missing stakeholder information for buying committees (CFO, Office Manager, IT Manager)

6. Analytics & Reporting (10% of time)
• Performance Tracking: Monitor website traffic, email open rates, LinkedIn engagement, campaign performance
• Monthly Reports: Compile data for CMO review (leads generated by source, campaign results, content performance)
• Dashboard Maintenance: Update tracking dashboards with current metrics and key performance indicators

1. B2B Copywriting Excellence
• Ability to write compelling business-focused content (NOT consumer/lifestyle writing)
• Understanding of B2B buying psychology and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes
• Can translate technical IT concepts into business outcome language
• Experience writing for different stakeholder audiences (CEOs, CFOs, Operations Managers)

2. Strong English Writing Skills
• Native or near-native English proficiency

3. Cold Outreach & Lead Generation Experience
• LinkedIn Outreach: Proven experience executing B2B LinkedIn connection and messaging campaigns

• List Building: Can research and build targeted prospect lists based on ideal customer profile criteria
• Personalisation: Understands how to personalise outreach at scale without manual one-off messages
• Results-Oriented: Can demonstrate previous campaign results (connection rates 25%+, reply rates 3-8%)

4. Marketing Systems Proficiency
• GoHighLevel (or similar CRM): Campaign building, automation setup, contact management
Email Marketing Platforms: Sequence creation, segmentation, A/B testing
• WordPress or Website CMS: Content updates, page creation, basic formatting
• Project Management Tools: Asana/Trello/Monday for task tracking and workflow management

5. Self-Direction & Execution Excellence
• Takes strategic direction and executes independently without hand-holding
• Proactively identifies what needs to be done next
• Meets deadlines consistently without constant reminders
• Asks clarifying questions when needed but doesn't require constant supervision

6. Detail Orientation & Quality Control

• Catches errors in grammar, formatting, data entry

• 2-5 years marketing coordinator/assistant experience in B2B services
• 1-2 years cold outreach experience (LinkedIn + email) with measurable results
• Has executed outbound campaigns that generated qualified meetings/opportunities
• Previously worked with small-medium businesses (10-100 employees)
• Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision

Compensation & Growth Potential
Starting Position: Part-time (15-20 hours/week) with hourly compensation based on experience level

Growth Path: As campaigns scale and lead generation increases, this role has potential to expand to full-time (30-40 hours/week) with increased responsibilities and compensation.
