You will be required to test a new website independently and report any issues you find. This role is temporary and perfect for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy systematically identifying problems and helping improve user experience.
About the Role
We’re looking for temporary website testers to help ensure a new website launch is smooth, bug-free, and user-friendly. You will work independently to thoroughly test the site on desktop and mobile, identify issues, and clearly document your findings in a shared Google Doc.
This role focuses on user-facing pages only; admin areas are off-limits. You will be part of a short-term project team ensuring the website works correctly for all users.
Responsibilities:
Review all public-facing website pages, tabs, links, and forms on desktop and mobile.
Identify broken links, buttons, pages, layout problems, or confusing UI elements.
Test form functionality including edge cases like invalid inputs, repeated clicks, and unusual navigation.
Document every issue clearly in a personal Google Doc with:
Page/URL
Description of issue
Steps to reproduce
Screenshot (if applicable)
Expected result
Focus only on user-facing pages, admin areas are not part of this assignment.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to systematically test web pages.
Familiarity with desktop (Chrome/Safari) and mobile browser testing.
Ability to clearly document issues with screenshots and written notes.
Comfortable following structured instructions (e.g., Loom video guide).
Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop/laptop and mobile device.
Nice to Have
Previous experience testing websites, apps, or digital products.
Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
Ability to suggest improvements or usability fixes.
