JOB OVERVIEW

Flowvate is hiring an experienced bookkeeper on behalf of one of our clients, an established accounting firm based in Ottawa, Canada. This is a full-time role supporting the firm during a busy period. This is not a training position. We are looking for someone who has already worked with real client books and can operate independently with confidence.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accurate transaction categorization, maintaining clean and organized books, supporting multiple client accounts, and communicating clearly with our internal team. There may also be some light internal administrative tasks as needed.

Required Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online. Experience handling multiple client accounts. Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals. Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Comfortable working during busy periods and meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have (Not Required):
Experience using ---------- . Prior experience working with accounting firms. Exposure to North American clients.

Work Details:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hourly rate of $4 USD. Working hours must align with Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
