JOB OVERVIEW

Everstone Industries LLC is a fast-growing U.S. government contracting company focused on defense, aviation, and industrial supply.
We are building an internal automation platform to increase the number of government bids we can process daily by automating data ingestion, matching, and alerting.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to help us deploy, secure, and scale this system.

???? ROLE SUMMARY

You will be responsible for the cloud infrastructure, deployment, security, and reliability of a data-driven procurement automation platform.

This is a hands-on technical role, not a support role.

? RESPONSIBILITIES

Deploy and manage backend services (APIs, data pipelines)

Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP preferred)

Configure:

Compute (EC2 / Cloud Run / ECS)

Databases (PostgreSQL)

Storage (S3 or equivalent)

Implement CI/CD pipelines

Manage environment variables, secrets, and credentials securely

Set up logging, monitoring, and alerts

Ensure system uptime, backups, and basic disaster recovery

Assist with scaling as data volume and users increase

???? REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

You must have real-world experience with:

? AWS or Google Cloud Platform
? Linux server administration
? Docker / containerized deployments
? CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
? Database deployment & maintenance (PostgreSQL)
? API security & access control
? Monitoring & logging tools

???? This role is NOT for entry-level engineers.

Backend: Python (FastAPI)

Database: PostgreSQL

Cloud: AWS or GCP

Containers: Docker

Task Queues: Celery / Redis

CI/CD: GitHub Actions

Infra as Code (bonus): Terraform

Experience supporting data pipelines / ETL systems

Familiarity with scraping infrastructure

Prior work with GovTech, FinTech, or supply-chain platforms

Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)

Security best practices for SaaS platforms
