Summary
Job Description
I’m looking for an experienced Google Sheets / Google Workspace expert to help me build a polished, consumer-facing template system that will be sold online.
This project is about creating a clean, easy-to-use Google Workspace template for parents, designed to help them intake information, stay organized, and track ongoing communication over time.
The final product must be:
intuitive for non-technical users
visually calm and well designed
reliable when copied and reused by many buyers
This is not an internal business tool. It is a product that will be duplicated and installed into each customer’s Google Drive.
High-Level Scope
At a high level, the project includes:
A master Google Sheet that acts as the main hub
One or more Google Forms connected to that sheet
Clean data flow from Forms ? Sheets
Basic automation using formulas (not complex scripting)
Specific use cases, workflows, and field details will be finalized after selecting the right freelancer.
Key Requirements
Strong experience with Google Sheets and Google Forms
Comfort building templates intended for resale or repeated copying
Thoughtful approach to UX and clarity for non-technical users
Ability to design systems that work cleanly with “Make a copy”
Design & UX Expectations
Clean, professional layout
Calm, parent-friendly visual style
Consistent formatting and color usage
Feels like a simple tool, not a complicated spreadsheet
Constraints
Must function correctly when duplicated via “Make a copy”
No third-party add-ons
No required logins or external tools
Google Apps Script only if truly necessary (preference is formulas)
What I’ll Provide
Product vision and goals
Target audience context
Visual direction (colors, layout preferences)
Ongoing feedback and collaboration
Ideal Freelancer
Experienced Google Sheets builder
Has worked on templates, dashboards, or reusable systems
Comfortable collaborating and refining scope
Can think like a product builder, not just a technician
Project Type
One-time project
Potential follow-on work as the product expands
Experience Level
Intermediate to Expert
