Arete Artistry by Tracie Fearing
Read this first
This is not a typical social media job.
This role is for someone who genuinely cares about art, creativity, and making the world a more beautiful place. Skill matters, but alignment matters more.
If you are just looking for another client, this is not for you.
If you get excited about helping an artist stay in her creative zone while her work reaches the people who need it most, keep reading.
Tracie’s Story
Tracie Fearing has been an artist for as long as she can remember.
When she was five years old, walking to kindergarten, her dad asked what she wanted to be when she grew up. Her answer came instantly. An artist. She never wanted to be anything else, and she never stopped choosing it, even when it wasn’t the practical path.
For Tracie, art isn’t about filling wall space. It’s about how people feel in their homes and in their lives.
When she paints, time disappears. It’s where she feels most alive, most grounded, and most herself. That depth shows up in her work. Her art brings calm, joy, and presence into the spaces people live in every day.
She believes real art carries energy that washes the daily stress and noise of life off our souls.
This isn’t about selling paintings. It’s about making the world a little more beautiful and a little more happy.
The Mission
Our goal is simple.
Help Tracie’s art reach more people without pulling her out of her creative flow.
That means building a consistent, thoughtful social media presence that feels authentic to her work and values, not trendy, flashy, or generic.
The Role
We are looking for a Social Media Strategist and Content Partner.
This is not just posting pretty images. You will help guide, shape, and execute the content strategy from start to finish.
You will work closely with Tracie so she can focus on creating art, while you focus on turning that process into meaningful content that connects with the right audience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Helping guide what content to film and how to film it
• Turning raw video into engaging short form content
• Editing videos with music, pacing, and polish that fits Tracie’s aesthetic
• Writing captions that feel human and aligned with her voice
• Posting consistently across platforms
• Understanding timing, trends, and basic algorithm behavior
• Engaging with comments and helping maintain
• Bringing creative ideas and direction, not just execution
Tracie’s only responsibility will be filming while she paints. You handle the rest.
What This Role Is Not
• Not a one off posting job
• Not just scheduling content
• Not someone who needs constant direction
• Not “whatever is trending” content
• Not rainbow, bubblegum, overly polished influencer aesthetics
Authenticity matters here.
Who This Is For
You’ll be a great fit if you:
• Love art, creativity, and storytelling
• Care about beauty, meaning, and emotional impact
• Enjoy helping creatives stay in their zone
• Are proactive and bring ideas to the table
• Understand social media strategy and execution
• Want to be part of a mission, not just a paycheck
Time & Budget
This is a monthly role.
Budget range is approximately $500 to $1,000 per month, depending on experience and fit.
The right person matters more than the lowest price.
Application Process (Important)
To apply, you must complete all of the following. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Step 1
Record a short video of yourself answering these two questions:
Introduce yourself and tell us a little about you
Why do you want to be part of Arete Artistry and this mission?

Subject line: Social Media Partner Application
Final Note
This role is for someone who wants to help spread more joy, beauty, and presence through art.
