Job Description:
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance & Operations Manager to oversee financial visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role bridges finance, data analysis, and operations, ensuring the company runs smoothly, profitably, and predictably as we scale. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, solid QuickBooks Online experience, and the ability to build automated dashboards and reports that enhance financial clarity and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely monthly close
Manage accounts receivable/payable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial reports covering revenue, margins, and profit across retail, D2C, and B2B channels
Handle inventory accounting, including landed cost, duty, and freight allocation
Maintain and update the Pricing Master Sheet (MSRP, wholesale, and MAP tiers)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections on a rolling 12-month basis
Build and automate financial dashboards integrating QuickBooks, Shopify, and Google Sheets
Collaborate with Operations and Logistics teams on freight planning and inventory valuation
Support grant applications and compliance documentation with accurate financial reporting
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations (retail or e-commerce preferred)
Proficient in QuickBooks Online, with strong skills in bank reconciliations, AR/AP, and journal entries
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, dashboards, variance analysis)
Experience with Shopify data exports and financial modeling
Solid understanding of inventory accounting, including FIFO, landed cost, and margin analysis
Analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive communicator
Must have prior graveyard shift experience overlapping with the U.S. CST
