JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for an experienced legal professional (attorney, paralegal, or senior legal assistant) to help me with multiple legal matters in the United States, including:
Pro per (self-represented) civil cases
Insurance claims and disputes
Civil lawsuits and filings
Disputes with the city regarding permits and compliance
Legal research, drafting motions/letters, and organizing case strategy
Reviewing documents and helping me prepare filings and responses

This role is for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and experienced with real-world U.S. civil cases, not just theory.
Important:
You must be familiar with U.S. law and U.S. court procedures.
Experience with California and/or Florida law is a big plus.

What I need from you:
Strong experience with U.S. civil litigation and/or insurance claims
Comfortable supporting pro per / self-represented cases
Able to do legal research and draft clear, well-structured legal documents
Familiar with (or able to research deeply) city/municipal permit and compliance issues
Organized, responsive, and able to explain legal concepts in plain English

Discretion and confidentiality are a must

Nice to have:
Background as a paralegal, legal assistant, or attorney
Experience with U.S. civil courts and filings
Experience with insurance disputes or municipal/city legal issues
Familiarity with California and/or Florida law

Scope & Pay:
Ongoing work (not just a one-time task)
Hourly or fixed rate — open to discussion based on experience
