JOB OVERVIEW

Social Media Assistant (Content Posting & Video Support)

We’re looking for a reliable and creative Social Media Assistant to help manage and post content for our business across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience creating content for a brand, including editing videos for YouTube and creating thumbnails, while keeping social accounts active and organized.

You’ll focus on creating, editing, scheduling, and posting content, with light engagement and basic reporting.

What You’ll Do

*Create, edit, and post content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook
*Edit YouTube videos, including trimming, captions, and basic enhancements
*Design YouTube thumbnails that match brand style and encourage clicks

Upload YouTube videos and assist with titles, descriptions, and tags

Schedule posts using tools like eClincher, Later, or similar platforms

Post content connected to Shopify products and promotions

Respond to basic comments and messages

Follow brand guidelines for captions, visuals, and tone

Keep content calendars organized

Track basic engagement (views, likes, comments) and share updates

What We’re Looking For

Experience posting and creating content for a business or brand

Comfortable editing videos for YouTube

Experience creating thumbnails using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar

Familiarity with social media scheduling tools

Basic knowledge of YouTube posting

Familiarity with Shopify or product-based content

Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with Pinterest

Interest in spiritual, metaphysical, or lifestyle content

Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)

How Success Is Measured

Content is posted consistently and on time

Videos are edited cleanly and professionally

Thumbnails are clear, branded, and engaging

Social accounts stay active and organized
