About the Project
==============
We run an educational financial literacy platform focused on explaining money, behavior, and long-term financial thinking in a clear, calm, non-marketing style.

The videos are concept-driven, supported by:
Infographics
Diagrams
Simple animations

These visuals will be provided — you will integrate them into the video.

This is not influencer content, entertainment editing, or trend?driven social media editing.

The Role
=======
We are looking for a contract video editor who can:

Edit educational talking head videos for YouTube
Insert provided infographics and animations
Create short-form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Shorts

The editing style should be:
Clean
Minimal
Easy to follow
Educational

What You’ll Do
===========
Long-Form (YouTube)
Edit raw talking-head footage
Insert provided infographics and animations at correct timestamps
Add clean captions
Apply simple transitions
Maintain calm, structured pacing

Short-Form (Reels / TikTok / Shorts)
Cut 3–5 short clips from each long video
Reframe to vertical format
Add captions and emphasis timing
Keep edits clean (not ---------- or trend heavy)

Important — What This Role Is NOT
============================
No graphic design required
No motion graphics from scratch
No flashy effects or gaming / ---------- editing
No scripting or storytelling decisions

This is structured execution editing, not creative direction editing.

Final Cut
DaVinci Resolve
CapCut (if high quality output)

Required Experience
=================
Talking-head or educational video editing
Converting long videos into short-form clips
Caption timing
Working with provided assets
Following structured instructions

Nice to Have
==========
Experience editing educational / finance / explainer content
Experience working with remote creators
Understanding of pacing for teaching content

Typical Workflow
=============
Receive raw video + notes
Receive infographic / animation files
Edit full YouTube video
Create short-form clips
Export in required formats

Workload
========
Approximate:
• 1 long video every 1–2 weeks
• 3–5 short videos per long video

Ongoing work expected.
