JOB OVERVIEW

Fire, Water & Smoke Restoration

We’re hiring a hands-on Ad Creative & Social Media Specialist with real experience in fire, water, and smoke restoration or closely related emergency home services.

This role is for someone who understands local service marketing, insurance-driven restoration work, and homeowner psychology during stressful situations — and knows how to turn content and ads into real calls, real leads, and booked appointments.

Our team is operating at full capacity, so we need a proactive creative partner who can take ownership of the creative ecosystem, reduce internal workload, and consistently deliver original, high-impact content and ads that convert.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Ad Creative & Campaign Support (Meta-Focused)

Create high-converting ad creatives from scratch: hooks, angles, visuals, copy, and variations

Build ads for fire damage, smoke damage, water losses, and emergency response

Focus on trust, urgency, authority, and compliance-aware messaging

Test, refine, and scale winning creatives based on performance data

Support campaign structure and creative strategy for Meta ads

Social Media Content (Local Growth Focus)

Create and manage daily content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms

Publish at least two unique posts per day, tailored to each platform

Create educational and trust-building content for homeowners, including:

What to do after fire, smoke, or water damage

Common mistakes homeowners make during insurance claims

Behind-the-scenes restoration explanations

Showcase real restoration work: before/after, walkthroughs, and job insights

Video Content

Create or coordinate short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, Ads)

Highlight:

Active job sites (when appropriate)

Fire and smoke cleanup processes

Water mitigation workflows

Insurance education and FAQs

Client testimonials and credibility-building stories

Google Business Profile (GBP)

Publish regular posts and updates to our Google Business Profile

Upload:

Project updates

Before/after photos

Service explanations

Local trust-building content

Optimize posts for local visibility, engagement, and conversions

Blog & Website Content

Create educational blog posts for our website focused on:

Fire, smoke, and water damage education

Emergency response guidance

Insurance-related topics homeowners care about

Write content that supports SEO, authority, and lead conversion

Coordinate topics with ads and social content to reinforce messaging

Systems, CRM & Automations

Recommend and assist in setting up a CRM that tracks:

Lead sources (Meta, Google, GBP, organic)

Calls, forms, and booked appointments

Suggest automations and workflows to improve follow-up speed and booking rates

Help create clarity around what content and ads are driving revenue

Reporting & Communication

Provide clear daily or weekly updates on:

Content published

Ads launched or adjusted

Performance insights and next steps

Take initiative, spot opportunities, and suggest improvements without being asked

What We’re Looking For

Experience in fire, water, smoke, or mold restoration preferred

Strong understanding of local service marketing and Meta ads

Comfortable producing high-volume, high-quality content

Ability to balance:

Educational content

Trust-based storytelling

Conversion-focused messaging

Important:

Content must not feel AI-generated

AI may be used for ideation, but final content must be human, authentic, and experience-driven

Organized, reliable, and self-directed

Compensation

Base salary

Bonus for each confirmed appointment generated from leads

Long-term opportunity as we scale

???? To Apply

Reply with “Fire” and include:

A relevant portfolio (ads, social posts, videos, GBP posts, blog samples)

Resume and work experience

Examples specific to fire, water, smoke restoration or similar emergency services

If there’s a fit, we’ll set up a conversation and explore working together.
