About the Role
EMDL is a performance-driven digital marketing agency specializing in the home improvement and kitchen & bath industry. We're a lean, fast-moving team generating measurable client results — and now we're ready to scale. We're looking for a Head of Sales who can own every stage of our revenue pipeline: from outbound prospecting accountability to closing deals, with full command over tracking, forecasting, and team performance.
This is not a figurehead role. The right candidate gets in the trenches, holds the outbound team accountable daily, books and closes demo calls personally, and builds the systems that remove the CEO from the sales process entirely.

What You'll Be Accountable For
- Demo Call Targets — Book a minimum of 4–5 qualified demo calls per week across outbound and inbound channels
- Outbound Team Leadership — Manage and hold the outbound calling, magazine cover, and video production team to daily activity targets; review CallRail logs and recorded calls weekly
- CRM Pipeline Ownership — Build and maintain an active ---------- pipeline (Contact ? Qualified ? Video Sent ? Demo Booked ? Proposal ? Closed); every deal stage tracked, no exceptions
- Conversion Tracking — Own a 20% demo-to-proposal close rate target; report weekly on funnel drop-off and propose fixes before leadership has to ask
- Forecasting — Deliver a weekly pipeline forecast: volume, demos booked, proposals out, projected closes, and revenue in play
- Closing — Lead discovery and demo calls personally for qualified prospects ($5M+ revenue, owner decision-makers); close deals without CEO involvement
- Inbound Speed-to-Lead — Respond to all inbound demo requests within 60 minutes; track and report inbound vs. outbound source attribution on every close
- Revenue Target — Minimum 1 new client closed per week; results-based accountability only — no activity credit without outcomes
- Sales Playbook — Document and refine pitch, objection handling, qualifying criteria, and follow-up cadence based on recording data and conversion trends
- Weekly EOW Report — Submit a results report to leadership every Monday covering the prior week's pipeline, demos, closes, and next-week projection
