About Us

We run a London-based theatre ticket business, Hit The Theatre. We help customers find great-value tickets and the best seats for West End shows, with a “personal box office” approach: friendly advice, no pressure, and a real focus on helping people have a brilliant night out.

We’re growing quickly and building out our website and news content. We’re now looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help us publish content consistently and professionally.

About the Role

This role is mainly focused on uploading and publishing content to our website CMS, especially theatre news and show-related updates. A lot of the work involves copying and pasting content that has already been prepared by our team, but this is not “robot work”.

We want someone who takes responsibility for what goes live. That means reading and understanding the content before publishing, checking it’s accurate and well-formatted, and flagging anything that looks unclear or incorrect.

You’ll also help source and prepare images for articles, including basic cropping/resizing and keeping everything organised.

Typical Tasks

* Uploading news articles to our CMS (copy, headings, links, images, and any required fields)
* Formatting articles so they look clean and consistent (headings, bullets, spacing)
* Adding and checking internal links
* Finding suitable images from approved sources and logging source links
* Cropping and resizing images so they look good on the site and load quickly
* Filling image fields correctly (file names, alt text where relevant)
* Updating Google Sheets to track what’s published, what’s queued, and what’s blocked
* Light research when needed (confirming show names, venues, dates, spellings)

What We’re Looking For

* Strong English reading and writing - You don’t need to be an expert, but you must spot mistakes, understand what you’re publishing, and be keen to improve.
* Excellent attention to detail (formatting, links, names, dates, consistency).
* Reliable and organised, able to work independently and manage your time well.
* A proactive communicator - you raise issues early, ask sensible questions, and don’t guess.
* Comfortable with images - finding suitable images, cropping/resizing, and keeping files and source links organised.
* Interest in theatre is a bonus - We don’t expect you to have been to the West End or Broadway, but you should be curious about shows, theatres, and how ticketing works (we’ll ask about this in the interview).
* Content writing or SEO experience is a big bonus (but not required).

Pay

Anticipated wage: PHP80–150 per hour, depending on experience. We’ll begin with a paid trial, and if it’s a good fit on both sides, we’ll move to ongoing full-time work. There’s also room for your rate to increase over time as you become more valuable to the team.

How to Apply – Important

Applications are only accepted through our Google Form. We will not consider applicants who apply by email, message, or any other method.

Apply here: ----------

Deadline: Saturday 7 February at 10pm

Careful reading test: In the form, you’ll see a question asking which part of the role matters most. Please answer: “Quality control before publishing.”

Many thanks,
Will
