Position Overview
The QuickBooks Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for setting up new clients properly from day one — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
You will play a critical role in building the financial foundation for our clients.
? Key Responsibilities
Lead the complete QuickBooks onboarding process
Set up the Charts of Accounts correctly based on the industry
Clean up and organize existing financial records
Import data and reconcile accounts
Configure bank feeds and automation tools
Establish workflows and best practices
Provide basic client guidance when needed
Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
Ensure clients are positioned for accurate financial reporting
? REQUIRED — TRUE EXPERIENCE ONLY
We are specifically seeking candidates who have:
? 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks experience
? Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
? Experience with onboarding multiple businesses
? Strong reconciliation skills
? Cleanup/catch-up expertise
? Ability to troubleshoot complex setups
? Confidence working independently
Preferred:
? QuickBooks Certification
? Accounting or bookkeeping background
? Experience working with multiple industries
? Strong attention to detail
