What this role is
You will configure and enforce rules inside existing business systems so that workflows cannot proceed unless required conditions are met.
This is not a strategy role.
This is not consulting.
This is not design or architecture.
This is hands-on execution inside real software.

What you’ll actually do
• Work inside existing tools (CRM, billing, ops platforms, internal systems)
• Configure constraints, gates, and required steps
• Make workflows stop until required actions or records exist
• Use native settings, permissions, automations, and integrations
• Verify enforcement using system logs and records
• Hand back a system that behaves predictably and cannot be bypassed
You are given clear instructions on what must be true.
Your job is to make the system behave that way.

Examples of systems you may touch
(You do not need to know all of these — familiarity with similar systems is enough.)
• CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.)
• Billing & payments (Stripe, Chargebee, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Internal tools (Airtable, Retool, Smartsheet, Notion, etc.)
• Automation platforms (Zapier, Make, Workato, native automations)
• Admin panels, permissions, and workflow settings

• You’ve enforced workflows or controls inside software before
• You’re comfortable entering unfamiliar systems and figuring them out
• You understand how permissions, logs, and automation actually work
• You don’t need hand-holding or creative freedom
• You prefer clear requirements over vague goals
• You have no interest in selling, presenting, or “consulting”

• You need to design solutions from scratch
• You prefer strategy, ideation, or discovery calls
• You dislike working inside admin panels and settings
• You want to “improve” instructions instead of executing them
• You need long explanations or detailed SOPs
