We are looking for a competent systems operator who can enter unfamiliar business environments and make specific operational conditions true.
This is not a role for someone who needs step-by-step instructions.
You will be given a clear, written specification of what must be true inside a company’s systems. Your job is to translate that specification into reality using the tools and systems already in place.
Think of this like a field technician role, but for internal business systems instead of physical hardware.
What You Will Do
Enter existing business systems (CRM, billing, product, ops tools, etc.)
Review a short reference document describing a required control or constraint
Identify where the control must live inside the system
Configure workflows, permissions, automations, or blocks so the condition becomes true
Request access or clarification only when necessary
Deliver a clean, working result — not documentation, not explanations
You are not designing strategy.
You are not consulting.
You are making something impossible to ignore or bypass.
What This Role Is
Not
Not data entry
Not virtual assistance
Not customer support
Not a call-heavy role
Not a role with constant supervision
Not a role with detailed instructions
If you need someone to tell you how to do things, this is not a fit.
Required Traits (More Important Than Tools)
Comfortable entering unknown systems and figuring them out
Strong internal sense of accountability (“if it breaks, I fix it”)
Able to translate written requirements into system behavior
Calm under ambiguity
Zero ego — focused on outcome, not credit
Can work independently once access is granted
If you’ve ever worked as:
a field technician
a systems admin
an automation specialist
an internal ops implementer
a “fixer” who gets dropped into messy setups
You’ll understand this role immediately.
Technical Experience (Flexible)
You do not need to know every tool.
Experience with some of the following is helpful:
CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Automation tools (Zapier, Make, native workflows)
Billing systems
Permissions / role-based access
Internal tooling or admin panels
What matters more is that you can learn fast and execute cleanly.
How Work Happens
Work begins after client payment
You receive a clear reference document
You request access
You implement
You confirm completion
You move on
No meetings unless absolutely required.
Compensation
Paid per engagement or per install
Rates discussed after initial screening
Reliable, ongoing work for the right operator
How to Apply (Important)
In your application, do not send a generic cover letter.
Instead, answer briefly:
Have you ever entered a system you didn’t know and figured it out anyway? (Yes / No)
Do you prefer clear outcomes over detailed instructions? (Yes / No)
Describe one situation where you were dropped into something unfamiliar and made it work. (3–5 sentences max)
Applications that do not answer these will be ignored.
