JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to help organize, edit, and prepare short video reels documenting a 5-year journey — from raw, untouched land in southern Italy to a fully realized yoga & meditation retreat.

The total library is under 500 short video clips (iPhone videos). The goal is to publish approximately 3 reels per week over several months, following the making of the project in a calm, elegant, and authentic way.

This role goes beyond simple trimming. Some reels will require:

combining multiple short clips

creating “before” sequences from older footage

preparing those “before” edits so I can personally record the “after” clips as the land exists today

then finalizing the before/after comparison into a single cohesive reel

This is a collaborative storytelling workflow, not influencer-style content.

Responsibilities

Organize short video clips into clear folders (by year / phase / theme)

Select and assemble clips to create strong “before” sequences

Light to moderate editing:

trimming and sequencing

combining clips when needed

resizing to 9:16

basic color balance and light stabilization

Provide me with:

a finished “before” edit (or draft edit)

clear reference so I can record the corresponding “after” footage

Finalize before/after reels once new footage is provided

Add clean, readable captions using provided templates

Create simple, consistent cover frames

Prepare or schedule posts for Instagram and Facebook

Tools (experience preferred)

Requirements

Excellent written English

Strong attention to detail and visual continuity

Comfortable following a step-by-step workflow

Able to work collaboratively and wait for feedback/input when needed

Calm, reliable working style

Respect for meaningful, personal storytelling content

8–10 hours per week

Project duration: ongoing (initial setup 6–8 weeks, then light weekly workflow)

Trial Task

Paid test: assemble and lightly edit a short “before” sequence from 3–5 clips
