Full Stack Developer
Experience Level: Mid–Senior (3–5 years)

Ultra Labs is a U.S.-based business incubator/accelerator that focuses on software/tech-based businesses. We are currently seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions across multiple complex business applications.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong frontend foundations and solid backend experience who can contribute across the stack in complex business applications.

What You’ll Do
_Implement and maintain frontend features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
_Build backend services and APIs that power product logic, integrations, and data processing.
_Integrate with third-party services (e.g., authentication, payments, maps).
_Participate in API design and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend.
_Write clean, maintainable code with good testing practices.
_Collaborate remotely with engineers and stakeholders across time zones.

Tech Stack (Required)
Frontend
_JavaScript/TypeScript
_React (17/18) with modern patterns/hooks
_State management (Redux Toolkit / RTK Query)
_UI frameworks/libraries (Ant Design / Styled Components)
_Responsive, accessible UI development

Backend
_REST API implementation
_Database experience (PostgreSQL or similar)
_Server-side language experience (e.g., Java or equivalent)

General
_Git version control
_Unix/Linux command line comfort (or WSL2)
_Experience working with APIs and cloud integrations

Nice-to-Have
_Python (FastAPI preferred)
_AWS or CI/CD experience
_Experience with authentication services (e.g., AWS Cognito)
_Payment system integrations (e.g., Stripe)
_Familiarity with additional backend languages (Node.js/Express, etc.)

Required Skills
_3–5 years of full stack software development experience
_Strong problem-solving and communication skills
_Comfortable building both frontend UIs and backend services in a distributed team
