About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Professional to support our U.S.-based CPA and advisory team. This role is highly focused on strategic growth in different phases of engagement. Primarily Reviewing previous Tax & Accounting records, identifying errors and missed opportunities; Correcting errors, cleaning up books and preparing taxes for previous years; managing and providing proactive support with a limited number of clients, catering to developing good rapport with the same clients. You will become familiar with Tax Dome, our CRM for communication, organization, and processes.
You must also be proficient in QuickBooks Online bookkeeping, financial reporting, reviewing &/or maintaining clean, compliant records that support advanced tax strategies.
You will work within a team, maintain a workflow & fulfill tasks within SOP's directed by an Operations Manager/Executive Assistant & other bookkeepers.
Primary Responsibilities
- knowledge of IRS regulations, and willingness to learn industry-specific expertise (Dental, Medical, other licensed professional/owner type businesses)
- Be passionate about accomplishing tasks thoroughly and on time.
- Review Accounting within Quickbooks Online, Xero and other accounting software or bank statements
- Perform Tax & Financial Analysis and Audits when onboarding clients
- Work with Operations Manager to create jobs and tasks to clean up taxes & accounting
- Work with Operations Manager to transition new clients into a workflow with tasks to be completed by bookkeeper and or yourself.

- Ability to proficiently review P & L's
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
- Maintain clean, audit-ready books
- Deliver books ready for US Tax Preparer/CPA
- Ensure bookkeeping aligns with tax strategies and compliance requirements
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports for clients
- Prepare quarterly financial reports, including tax projections
- Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and clearly presented
- Advisory & Team Support
- Work with the founder and business managers to:
- Review financials prior to quarterly or annual client calls
- Discuss growth insights and financial trends
- Support tax planning by ensuring numbers are reliable and well-documented
- Client Communication Support
- Join client calls when needed or review recorded client communications to understand expectations
- Apply instructions accurately and ask clarifying questions when necessary
- Documentation & CRM Management
- Maintain detailed, clear notes in CRM, TaxDome
- Update tasks, client records, and statuses consistently
- Help keep the CRM clean and usable across the team
Required Qualifications
- Licensed CPA, US Tax Preparation (not necessarily filing) experience
- Strong familiarity in using CRM's and internal documentation
- Minimum 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Online
- Excellent written English skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial terminology
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Relevant Certifications (Optional but advantageous):
- Enrolled Agent (EA): Specialized expertise in IRS representation.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA): Strong background in internal controls.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA): Expertise in financial systems.
Ideal DISC Profile

Compensation & Growth

Compensation based upon experience, speed and accuracy, ability to work within the team structure, pursuit of individual excellence while providing growth within the company
