About the role
We are looking for a Marketplace Customer Service & Operations Support Specialist to support our growing e-commerce operations across multiple online marketplaces.
This role is a mix of customer service, case management, and operational support. Customer service is the priority, and when
things are quiet, you’ll also support campaign coordination and operational tasks.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, improving processes, and actually making things work better - this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Case Management
• Manage customer inquiries across marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Mirakl-based platforms, and others)
• Handle cases, disputes, escalations, and appeals following pre-agreed processes
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and marketplace support teams
• Identify recurring issues and flag them early
Marketplace Operations Support
• Support day-to-day marketplace operations
• Work with 3PL warehouses to investigate delivery issues, returns, and stock-related problems
• Assist with operational checks, reporting, and data validation
Process & Improvement
• Follow existing processes carefully and consistently
• Suggest improvements where processes, templates, or workflows can be improved
• Help document and refine procedures over time
Campaign & Coordination Support (when CS workload allows)
• Assist with campaign setup, checks, and coordination
• Support operational tasks related to promotions, listings, or marketplace activity
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience with marketplace customer service (Amazon, eBay, Mirakl, or similar platforms is a strong advantage)
• Strong written English communication skills
• Good customer service mindset - calm, clear, and solution-focused
• Good analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with Excel and Google Sheets
• Familiarity with basic AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT or similar tools for drafting, summarising, checking)
• Able to manage multiple cases and priorities at the same time
• Comfortable working with structured processes - and improving them
• Willing and able to work at least partially during UK business hours
Nice to Have
• Experience working with 3PL warehouses
• Experience handling appeals or escalations on Amazon or other marketplaces
• Experience supporting promotions or campaigns
• Background in e-commerce operations or marketplace management
