This role is designed for a true headhunter... someone who wants to build the recruiting engine, not simply execute against open roles.
???? The Role (Read Carefully)
We’re hiring a senior-level recruiter / headhunter with sharp judgment, deep recruiting intuition, and the ability to design and execute recruiting systems inside a fast-scaling company.
This is not a volume sourcing role.
This is a strategy + execution + mentorship position.
You will partner closely with the founder to:
- Own high-stakes placements across creative and operational roles
- Help define how recruiting is done company-wide
- Raise the bar on candidate quality, vetting, and decision-making
- Build scalable recruiting systems that outgrow any single recruiter
What You’ll Own:
- Headhunting & Talent Strategy
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for senior creative and operations roles
- Run deep discovery to understand how founders and teams truly operate
- Headhunt and close top-1?ndidates (not job-board applicants)
- Identify talent patterns, compensation trends, and market gaps
Candidate Vetting & Quality Control
- Conduct high-signal interviews (behavioral + performance-based)
- Evaluate candidates beyond resumes — judgment, ownership, and communication
- Maintain a “ready bench” of pre-vetted, high-caliber talent
- Continuously raise the internal quality bar
Systems & Infrastructure (Critical)
- Refine candidate scoring and evaluation frameworks
- Improve hiring workflows, screening SOPs, and handoff processes
- Advise on interview design, assessments, and onboarding success
- Mentor junior recruiters as the function scales
Founder Collaboration
- Act as a strategic thought partner, not just an executor
- Provide real-world recruiting insight grounded in experience
- Help translate vision into scalable execution
Who You Are (Non-Negotiables)
- 5–10+ years of recruiting experience
- Background in headhunting, retained search, agency, or senior in-house recruiting
- Proven experience placing high-caliber operators (not entry-level roles)
- Strong instincts — you can read candidates beyond rehearsed answers
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and improving systems
- Clear, confident communicator who works independently
- Interested in part-time, high-impact work
Motivated by building something, not just maintaining it
Bonus Experience
- Startups or founder-led companies
- Remote or globally distributed teams
- Creative, marketing, operations, or digital roles
