JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary
The Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing daily orders and ride progression to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. This role serves as the central point of coordination between drivers, clients, and internal teams, with a strong focus on communication, accountability, and performance monitoring. The Dispatcher will also be responsible for applying appropriate financial adjustments, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring adherence to Delivery and Rideshare contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Order & Ride Monitoring
? Monitor real-time progression of delivery and rideshare orders from dispatch through completion.
? Identify delays, service disruptions, or deviations from scheduled timelines and take corrective action as needed.
? Ensure all orders and rides are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and company standards.
Driver & Client Communication
? Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding assignments, expectations, route issues, and service concerns.
? Maintain clear, professional communication with clients regarding order status, delays, cancellations, or changes.
? Escalate critical issues to management when service quality, safety, or compliance is at risk.
Driver Accountability & Compliance
? Hold drivers accountable for meeting Delivery and Rideshare Contractual Agreements, including timeliness, conduct, and service standards.
? Document performance issues, service failures, and contract violations accurately and consistently.
? Support corrective action processes, including coaching, warnings, or escalations, as directed by management.
Financial Adjustments
? Review completed orders and rides to identify eligibility for financial adjustments, including credits, penalties, or reimbursements.
? Apply approved financial adjustments accurately and in accordance with company policy and contractual terms.
? Maintain clear documentation supporting all adjustments for audit and reporting purposes.
