???? What You’ll Be Editing
1. Long-Form Podcasts (Primary)
These are video podcasts with 1–2 speakers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Removing:
- Fumbles
- Long pauses
- Repeated sentences
- Verbal clutter (where appropriate)
- Ensuring the conversation flows smoothly and naturally
- Maintaining continuity and tone (nothing robotic or over-cut)
Basic intro edits:
Text-based animations
Light B-roll usage
Clean sound design
Audio clean-up and balancing (clear, professional sound)
?? No advanced motion graphics or heavy animations required.
2. Talking-Head YouTube Videos (Secondary)
These are 10–15 minute max educational or insight-based videos.
Your responsibilities include:
- Tightening pacing without killing personality
- Highlighting key points using:
- On-screen text
- Simple callouts
- B-roll where relevant
- Maintaining visual interest while keeping edits clean and professional
- Following clear structure and emphasis from provided direction
? What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
- Strong experience editing long-form content
Excellent sense of:
- Pacing
- Story flow
- Conversational editing
- Comfortable editing dialogue-heavy content
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean, organized project files
- Ability to follow editing guidelines and SOPs
- Reliable turnaround times
Technical skills:
- Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred) or equivalent
- Solid audio editing skills
- Clean text-based animations (nothing flashy)
- Smart B-roll placement
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience editing podcasts
- Understanding of YouTube content pacing
- Familiarity with captions and emphasis-based text editing

Not a motion graphics-heavy role
Not cinematic editing
Not flashy YouTube MrBeast-style editing
Not short-form/Reels-focused
This is about clarity, flow, and professionalism.
