We work with senior hiring leaders and CEOs who require speed, accuracy, and discretion — not volume recruitment. Our searches are exclusive, research-driven, and outcome-focused.
This role is not for generic virtual assistants or junior recruiters.
We are looking for a serious professional researcher who can think structurally, work independently, and deliver high-quality candidate slates under tight timelines.
The Role:
You will function as a Research Associate supporting Director-level and above executive searches.
Your primary responsibility is to build accurate longlists and shortlists of qualified candidates by mapping companies, roles, and talent pools — fast and precisely — based on a detailed client job specification.
This role requires judgment, discipline, and business literacy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Candidate Research & Mapping
Interpret senior-level job descriptions (Director, Head-of, Senior Director).
Identify relevant target companies, competitor sets, and adjacent talent pools.
Build structured longlists (20–40 profiles) with clear rationale for inclusion.
Narrow down to shortlists (6–10 candidates) aligned to role scope and seniority.
2. Executive Profiling
Assess candidate background for:
Scope of responsibility
Industry relevance
Functional depth (supply chain, operations, manufacturing, logistics, etc.)
Leadership level and reporting lines
Highlight transferable skills and potential role fit in short written summaries.
3. Outreach & Initial Screening (Selective)
Support outreach drafting (LinkedIn /
Track responses and interest levels.
Conduct basic qualification screening when required (experience, motivation, constraints).
4. Research Operations & Reporting
Maintain clean, structured research trackers (Excel / Google Sheets).
Update candidate pipelines accurately and promptly.
Flag risks, gaps, or market insights early to the lead consultant.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have:
2+ years experience as a research associate, recruiter, or sourcing specialist
(executive search experience is strongly preferred)
Strong LinkedIn sourcing and Boolean search capability
Excellent written English (clear, professional, business-grade)
High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Strong Advantage If You Have:
Prior experience supporting executive search firms or senior-level recruitment
Familiarity with corporate structures (Director vs VP vs Head-of distinctions)
Experience researching Industrial, Banking & Finance, Technology, Supply Chain & Operations roles
Ability to quickly understand new industries and functional domains
