Role Overview
This role supports daily operations by handling guest communication, coordinating cleanings and maintenance, and keeping our properties running smoothly. You will follow clear systems and escalate issues when needed — this is not a decision-heavy role.
You are the first line of defense, not the final decision-maker.
Core Responsibilities
Guest Communication
Respond to guest messages via Hospitable
Handle routine questions (check-in, WiFi, house rules, checkout)
Manage late checkout requests per guidelines
Escalate serious issues or refund requests
Turnover & Operations
Coordinate cleanings between reservations
Confirm cleanings are completed on time
Ensure cleaners submit required photo proof
Flag missed items or quality issues
Maintenance Coordination
Create maintenance tickets
Approve minor fixes under set thresholds
Coordinate with vendors
Escalate larger issues per SOP
Reviews & Admin
Send review requests
Respond to guest reviews using templates
Track open issues and follow up until closed
Maintain daily operational checklist
What You Will NOT Do
Approve refunds or discounts
Communicate directly with property owners
Change pricing or listing settings
Make emergency or financial decisions
Clear boundaries = success.
Required Skills & Traits
Strong written English
Calm under pressure
Detail-oriented and process-driven
Comfortable following checklists
Tech-savvy (PMS tools, Google Workspace)
Reliable internet and availability
STR or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
