CapCut Pro Video Editor + Creative Operator (Short-Form) for Art Brand / Lifestyle + Travel
We’re hiring a creative operator who’s obsessed with storytelling, trends, and making short-form content that people can’t stop watching.
You’ll be editing punchy, viral-ready videos in CapCut Pro, helping shape content ideas, and supporting light creative ops (organizing files, thumbnails, weekly trend research). This is a role for someone who wants to grow with a brand and take real ownership.
About Us:
We’re a top art brand with a digital art academy helping artists build strong digital skills and create quirky, stylized portraits they’re proud to share. Our classes are best-selling and built around fun, simple exercises that level up brushes, technique, and style, one drawing at a time.
What You’ll Do:
Video Editing (Core)
- Edit and produce short-form videos (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) using CapCut Pro
- Create strong hooks, pacing, captions, and pattern interrupts
- Create carousels and have a knack for trending artwork pieces
- Repurpose long clips into high-performing short-form
- Creative Strategy + Trends
- Track trends weekly and pitch 5–10 content ideas tailored to lifestyle/travel + creator brand
- Help storyboard and improve concepts so videos feel scroll-stopping, not generic
- Thumbnails + Packaging
- Design clean, clickable thumbnails for shorts/reels
- Maintain basic brand consistency (fonts, style, vibe)
Creative Operations / Admin Support (Light)
- Organize assets in Google Drive (folders, naming, selects)
- Support simple brand/ops tasks when needed (digital organization, basic follow-ups)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years editing short-form content (or equivalent proof via portfolio)
- CapCut Pro expert (you know the platform deeply, not just “can cut clips”)
- Strong taste: storytelling, pacing, visual rhythm, music/SFX timing
- Trend-aware and able to translate trends into our brand voice (not copy/paste)
- Organized, dependable, clear communicator across time zones
Bonus Points
- You know digital art work and brush work content
- You’ve edited for creators/influencers, lifestyle/travel, entrepreneurship, or art brands
- You’ve helped a brand improve retention/engagement through better hooks + structure
What Success Looks Like (30–60 Days)
- Consistently deliver high-quality edits with strong hooks and pacing
- Proactively pitch ideas (not waiting for instructions)
- Clean file systems + faster turnaround
- Content begins trending upward (retention, saves, shares, comments)
To Apply (Required)
Submit:
- Portfolio (must include short-form edits — art work brands are preferred but not required)
- Resume and LinkedIn
& a Short cover letter answering:
1) Your experience editing/managing content for a personal brand
2) Any viral short-form examples you’ve worked on (link + what you did)
3) Your weekly process for trend research + idea generation
4) Your typical turnaround time and availability
Important: Include the word “pink” in your application subject line so we know you read this.
