Role Overview
We are a small but growing property management firm. We manage residential units and are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to support daily operations. You’ll handle tenant communication, basic accounting, and operational coordination using Rent Manager, QuickBooks, and Excel to keep everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Property Operations & Tenant Support
- Handle tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, and vendors
- Assist with lease renewals, rent reminders, and general communication
Administrative & Accounting Support
- Maintain records in Rent Manager
- Process payments, invoices, and bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks
- Manage rent rolls, expense tracking, and reports in Excel
- Prepare weekly summaries for management
Property Oversight
- Schedule inspections, contractor visits, and walkthroughs
- Support move-ins, move-outs, and new tenant onboarding
- Keep physical and digital files organized
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Rent Manager, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Ability to work 6–8 hours per day (Eastern Time)
- Fluent English—written and spoken
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
