JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a highly skilled video editor with strong storytelling ability and real-world post-production experience.
This role is not tied to a single editing platform.

Minimum requirement: solid experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
Preferred: experience using DaVinci Resolve
Editors who also use DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or other professional NLEs are welcome

What matters most is your ability to tell a story, manage projects cleanly, and deliver high-quality edits on deadline.
You should have 5+ years of professional video editing experience and be comfortable working with proxy workflows. I will upload low-resolution proxy files, and you’ll complete full edits, including:

Cutting, trimming, and transitions
Sound design and audio layering
Stabilization and effects (when needed)
Titles and basic motion graphics
Color correction and visual polish (platform-appropriate)
Delivering final exports and/or project files as requested

Types of Videos You’ll Work On
Projects range from short-form content to longer narrative pieces:

- Event recap videos (portrait & landscape)
- Wedding highlights & full ceremony edits
- Documentary-style videos (interviews + B-roll)
- Church & nonprofit videos
- Corporate / promotional highlights

Clients expect professional, emotionally engaging edits. This role is for editors who understand pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling, not just assembling clips.

Requirements

5+ years professional video editing experience
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
Experience with proxy workflows and large projects
Strong fundamentals in color correction and sound design
Fast, reliable internet connection
Fluent in English (spoken & written)
Organized file structure and clean project management
Reliable turnaround and deadline consistency
Creative eye with strong storytelling instincts
