We’re looking for a high-level Video Editor who understands that editing is not just cutting clips — it’s about pacing, retention, emotion, and clarity.
You will be editing short-form content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos (YouTube, VSLs, podcasts) for online brands and founders.
This role is primarily full-time and long-term. We are not looking for entry-level editors or people juggling many freelance clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Edit short-form videos optimized for retention and engagement
• Edit long-form videos (YouTube, podcasts, VSL-style content)
• Create clean, modern subtitles and captions
• Add sound effects, music, zooms, and motion elements where appropriate
• Identify strong hooks and
• Improve pacing, flow, and storytelling
• Repurpose long-form content into short clips
• Follow brand style and creative direction
• Organize files and deliver clean exports on time
Required Skills & Experience
You must have:
• Strong experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Proven experience editing short-form social content
• Experience editing long-form content
• Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Reliable full-time availability
• A portfolio or reel showcasing your work
Nice-to-Have (Big Plus)
• Experience editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Experience with podcasts or talking-head content
• Knowledge of direct-response or marketing-style editing
• Ability to add light motion graphics (text, lower thirds)
• Experience creating multiple short clips from one long video
