Business Development Associate (SDR) – Outbound Lead Gen (Part-Time)

We are a short- and mid-term rental and property management company providing fully furnished housing solutions, serving insurance displacement providers, healthcare networks, and companies with temporary housing needs. Our mission is to create high-performing rentals through professional management, strategic partnerships, and outstanding guest experiences.
We are looking for a B2B Sales Development Representative to help generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach. This role focuses on outreach to businesses to initiate conversations, build relationships, identify potential partnership opportunities, and qualify real housing needs. The goal is to develop conversations into qualified opportunities and coordinate follow-up discussions or solution presentations where there is a clear fit.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prospecting to businesses using tools like Apollo and LinkedIn
- Reaching out via calls,
- Identifying the right personas and job roles within target organizations and figuring out how to reach them effectively
- Building rapport and developing partner relationships through conversations
- Asking the right questions to qualify needs that match to our services / property solutions
- Booking meetings when qualified prospects have a clear partnering interest or immediate housing needs
- Following up consistently and managing many active conversations
- Logging activity and managing leads in CRM (HubSpot)
What this role is NOT:
- Not B2C (you are NOT selling to individual consumers)
- Not inbound support (this is outbound, proactive work)
- Not a scripted outbound volume machine
- Not customer service or support (this role is focused on generating new business) not upselling existing customers
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in B2B outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting (you must have experience prospecting and reaching out to businesses—not consumers)
- Comfortable with cold outreach and building relationships from scratch
- Ability to identify the right personas within organizations and find effective ways to reach them
- Clear progression in sales or business development roles, showing growth in responsibility and skill over time
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written English)
- Organized, consistent, and persistent with follow-ups
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven, outbound role where results and consistency matter
- Takes ownership of their pipeline and proactively creates opportunities—doesn't "wait" for them
