botified is an innovative startup on a mission to simplify business through AI. We help growth-stage businesses eliminate expensive operational complexity through strategic AI automation. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the ground level and own our LinkedIn presence as we scale. We are looking for a freelancer to work with us long-term to help grow the business.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled LinkedIn Growth Manager to drive organic growth and lead generation through LinkedIn. This role requires an individual who can independently source and create compelling AI-focused content, design scroll-stopping infographics, and execute B2B lead generation strategies. You will own the content strategy, manage both the founder’s personal profile and the company page, and be responsible for turning LinkedIn into a consistent pipeline of qualified conversations.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy & Sourcing
Own the entire LinkedIn content strategy for both the founder’s personal profile and the botified company page. Independently research and source content ideas—industry trends, AI news, competitor analysis, and audience pain points. Develop a consistent posting cadence (minimum 3-4x weekly). Stay current on AI and automation developments to ensure content is timely and relevant to our target audience (SMB owners and decision-makers).
1. Content Creation
Write engaging LinkedIn posts in the founder’s authentic voice (conversational, direct, problem-focused—not corporate fluff). Create infographics and visual content using Canva or similar tools that simplify AI/automation concepts. Ensure all content aligns with our mission of simplifying business through AI. Can use AI tools to enhance or brainstorm content, but the strategy and creative direction should be original.
1. Profile & Page Management
Optimize and continuously improve the founder’s LinkedIn profile for visibility and conversion. Manage the botified company page—posting, engagement, and growth. A/B test headlines, about sections, featured content, and post formats. Ensure brand consistency across all LinkedIn touchpoints.
1. Organic B2B Lead Generation
Execute engagement strategies to attract decision-makers in our target market (businesses doing $1M-$20M in revenue). Build genuine connections through thoughtful commenting, DMs, and relationship-building. Track and report on pipeline influence from LinkedIn activities. Grow audiences organically—no paid ads, no spam tactics.
1. Performance Analysis
Monitor engagement metrics, profile views, and connection growth. Analyze content performance and make data-driven adjustments to the strategy. Provide weekly reporting on key metrics and insights.
Work Style, Hours, and Expectations:
Flexible Schedule: You are expected to maintain your own schedule, working asynchronously with the team.
Part-Time Commitment: Initially, this role will require about 15-20 hours per week, with potential to increase for the right person.
Equipment: A stable Internet connection and your own computer hardware are required.
Problem Solving: We value creativity and problem-solving skills. Feel free to think outside the box and ask questions.
Detail Orientation: Attention to detail is crucial in this role. You will need to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly.
Client Work: It’s okay if you have other clients. We expect you to manage your time effectively. We care more about your output and outcomes for the business. You will be an independent contractor.
Time Tracking: Initially, we prefer to use time-tracking software to log hours. We will move away from this process over time as the role is more established.
Requirements:
2+ years managing B2B LinkedIn content with proven growth results
Portfolio showing infographics and visual content you’ve created
Experience writing in a founder’s voice (not your voice—theirs)
Ability to work independently and source your own content ideas
Familiarity with LinkedIn’s algorithm and organic growth tactics
Nice to Have:
Understanding of the AI and automation landscape (if you don’t have this yet, we’re open to candidates who are eager to learn along the way)
Experience in the consulting/agency space
Video editing skills for short-form LinkedIn content
