Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Growth to drive revenue expansion across our training and compliance platform. This role is focused on acquiring new customers, growing recurring revenue, and building long-term company relationships through memberships and bulk seat licensing.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies, and converting prospects into long-term clients—especially companies managing employee training, licensing, and compliance.
This is a remote role with clear performance metrics and strong upside.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Growth
Drive sales across three core offerings:
Individual course purchases
Monthly membership subscriptions
Company seat licensing (bulk / enterprise plans)
Own the full sales cycle: lead ? discovery ? proposal ? close
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Help design and refine pricing, bundles, and growth offers
Business Development
Identify and pursue partnerships (installers, security companies, service providers, compliance-driven businesses)
Build relationships with decision-makers (owners, operations managers, HR, compliance officers)
Develop outbound strategies
Strategy & Optimization
Analyze conversion data and recommend improvements to:
Sales messaging
Landing pages
Offer structure
Work closely with marketing and leadership to align growth strategy
Help define ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles)
Account Expansion
Support onboarding of company accounts
Help clients understand dashboards, tracking, and compliance features
Retain customers by ensuring value realization
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
Monthly and quarterly revenue growth
Number of new company accounts closed
Membership subscription growth
Average deal size (especially seat licensing)
Customer retention and expansion
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years in business development, sales, or growth roles
Experience selling B2B services, SaaS, subscriptions, or training
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable with remote work and self-management
CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Results-driven mindset
