Square POS Specialist – Kart Shop Pricing & Order Processing (Part-Time, Remote)
Business: Kart Racing Shop / Motorsports Parts
Location: Remote
Position: Part-Time (Long-Term)
Job Overview
We are a kart racing shop looking for an experienced Square POS Specialist to manage our parts catalog, update pricing, and process customer orders for drop shipping. This role supports our day-to-day operations by keeping our inventory system accurate and ensuring orders are placed and tracked correctly with suppliers.
Responsibilities
Square POS Management
Maintain and organize Square item catalog
Create and edit kart parts listings (engines, chassis parts, tires, sprockets, etc.)
Update pricing based on supplier invoices
Assign SKUs, categories, and product variations
Clean up duplicate or outdated items
Pricing & Data Management
Enter supplier costs and retail pricing
Track price changes from vendors
Maintain organized pricing spreadsheets
Monitor margins
Order Processing / Drop Shipping
Process customer orders in Square
Place drop-ship orders with karting suppliers
Track shipments and update customers
Communicate with vendors regarding fulfillment
Resolve order issues or discrepancies
Reporting
Generate sales and inventory reports
Maintain organized vendor records
Requirements
Experience using Square POS (backend/admin)
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Experience processing online or phone orders
Comfortable with spreadsheets
Reliable internet connection
Strong written communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in motorsports, karting, or auto parts
Familiarity with drop shipping
Inventory management experience
